Motto & Crest
- Emerging from Chisholm College are young men and women positively disposed to Christian faith and Christian values, possessing the capacity to make independent judgements and having a highly developed sense of social responsibility.
- In all cases, however, a rounded personal development is sought, with sporting activities, music, drama and the fine arts providing the balance.
- Individual excellence is promoted by means of challenging learning experiences for the more gifted and talented students and supportive programmes for the less academically able.
- They are also well-equipped with the skills and competencies needed to ensure their own economic security and to contribute to
the welfare of the global community in the twenty-first century.
"GROW IN CHRIST"
It was Jesus' expressed wish that we should be extensions of His life in our time. "I am the vine, you are the branches", He said. The Church, therefore, urges the Catholic school to assist the students "to live a new life in Christ". At the same time, Jesus is the Head of the school community which seeks to help students to grow like Jesus in the way they think and the way they love.
It should be noted that the College motto "GROW IN CHRIST" is strongly exemplified in the person and life of our patron, Caroline Chisholm.
